EXCITING BUILDING PROJECT PLANS
In November 2022, Listowel Community Centre was devastated by a major fire, resulting in significant damage to the building and the loss of important community facilities. Since then, we have been working towards rebuilding and developing the centre, with a vision to create a modern, accessible and sustainable community hub for Listowel and the wider North Kerry community.
The Building Project includes the restoration and redevelopment of the existing centre, together with a new extension and improvements to our facilities. The completed development will provide welcoming, flexible spaces that support community activities, health and wellbeing, learning, recreation and social connection. Sustainability, accessibility and adaptability are central to the design, helping to ensure that the centre can continue to meet the changing needs of our community for years to come.
